Maths Tutoring in North East of Scotland

Somesums is a Maths tutoring business. We specialise in Scottish education:- Nation 5, Higher and Advanced Higher. Our tutors are secondary maths teachers in Scotland. We have also delivered tutoring to GCSE, A Level and College students as well.

We offer direct one to one tutoring for those that stay locally to Brechin in Angus and online tutoring for those that stay further afield.

The online tutoring is very popular with students as they tend to be very comfortable communicating through the internet. The advantages are that it is far more time efficient for student and tutor. Skype is used for our lessons. This allows the student and tutor both to see what each other is writing. The students find it very useful taking screen shots of any notes or working presented by the tutor. The sessions are normally for one hour a week. It is possible if tutored online to change that to short 30min sessions if that is going to be more beneficial.

Our price is £30 per hour which can be paid via bank transfer/cheque/cash.

Tutors are GTCS registered and are members of the Disclosure Scotland scheme.
